Welcome to my page on Neocities, focusing on how you can find free stuff and freebies on the internet. This page will mainly be focused on finding freebies in the UK rather than from other parts of the world (but many of the same principals apply!).

Free stuff in the real world

  • Gumtree
    • Founded in 2000, Gumtree is one of the oldest websites for finding free (and cheap) stuff out in the real world. It's always worth checking on Gumtree before making a big purchase - maybe someone near you is getting rid of something that you could use. Furniture and baby stuff is popular on Gumtree.
  • Freecycle
    • Like the more popular Gumtree, Freecycle allows people to give away their old unwanted stuff to others. The difference with Gumtree is that on Freecycle every listing is for free - you won't have to pay a penny for anything listed! Because it's not as popular as Gumtree fewer items are listed, but it's still worth checking.

Free movies and other streaming video

Streaming video is more popular than ever, and many of the top streaming sites offer free trials. Amazon Prime offers 30 days free to new members, as does Netflix. With HBO you can also get a 30 day trial, the difference with HBO being that you can also watch using your cable box if you're in the United States.

Freebie websites

  • Sainsburys
    • Sainsbury's give away freebies directly on their online site. To get the deals you usually need to add an item to your basket and use a coupon code at the checkout to reduce the price down to free. Scroll down to the 'Freebies' section to see their current offers.
  • Money Saving Expert
    • The Money Saving Expert forum is a good place to check for freebies. They have an active community that regularly searches for and finds deals and offers, and post it here.
  • Free Stuff Now
    • Free Stuff Now is a site dedicated to posting new freebies and deals. There are quite a few sites like this one (for example Latest Free Stuff), but this one is regularly updated and more of the offers seem to work.
